Top island beaches near Hurghada

Orange bay Hurghada

One of the top things to do in Hurghada is to take a private speedboat trip. It allows you to explore the sea at your own pace, away from crowded tour boats.

You can visit famous beaches on Giftun Island like Orange Bay or Paradise Island. If you’re lucky, you may even see dolphins in the wild.

A private boat gives you the freedom to choose where to go and how long to stay, making it perfect for couples, families, or small groups.

We would like to compare island beaches which you can visit around Hurghada. All of them are equiped for relaxing, all of them have sandy beach and clear turquise water. Most of them are situated on Big Giftun Island. Check for more...

→ Good to know: Beaches are amazing for photos and chill, but not for the best coral snorkeling. Anyway with private speedboat you are free to visit any coral reef nearby.

speedb.png Tips: What to Bring for Your Day at Sea

Sun Protection

The sun in Hurghada is strong, so we recommend bringing reef-safe sunscreen (with mineral filters such as zinc oxide or titanium dioxide). Avoid harmful chemicals like oxybenzone and avobenzone. A cap, scarf, or lycra shirt with UV protection is also useful. The speedboat has a retractable sunshade, but you will still be exposed to sunlight.

Wind Protection

During the winter months, it’s a good idea to bring a windbreaker or waterproof jacket and a hat, especially when it’s windy. Daytime temperatures in Hurghada rarely drop below 20°C, but it can feel cooler at sea.

Swimwear and Towel

For snorkeling and swimming with dolphins, don’t forget your swimwear and towel. In cooler months, we can provide wetsuits.

Your Own Snorkeling Gear (Optional)

If you have your own mask and fins, feel free to bring them. If not, we provide full snorkeling equipment included in the price.
